Strong Performances and Great Recoveries in WSK Super Master Series Round 2

Strong Performances and Great Recoveries in WSK Super Master Series Round 2

It was a weekend full of challenges and comebacks for DPK Racing at Circuito Internazionale Napoli for Round 2 of the WSK Super Master Series. From strong Qualifying results to intense battles in mixed conditions, our drivers showed great determination and speed throughout the event.

Qualifying & First Day of Racing

The weekend started on a high note with Miguez leading the team in OKJ, securing P3 in his group in Qualifying. Solid performances also came from Zsebö and Nagy, setting a strong foundation for the heats. In the opening heats, Miguez continued to impress with a P5 finish, while Nagy and Bertolaccini showed great racecraft, gaining 6 and 14 positions respectively in their heats. In OK, both Marsh and Arnaudo delivered strong performances, each qualifying P6 in their groups. They carried that momentum into the heats, with Marsh finishing P4 and Arnaudo P5 in Heat C/D, demonstrating a solid team effort.

Battling in the Rain – Second Day of Heats

As the weather conditions changed, our drivers had to adapt to the wet track, making the racing even more demanding. In OKJ, Kutskov delivered a masterclass drive, gaining 15 positions in one heat to break into  the Top 10. By the end of the day, Miguez was our best-placed driver, securing P10 after the heats, with an excellent P3 finish in Heat B-D. Bertolaccini and Zsebö also showed good progress, setting themselves up for a strong fight in the Final phase. In OK, luck was not on our side, but Marsh still managed to secure P11 after the heats, keeping himself in contention. Arnaudo also had a solid run in Heat B-D, finishing close to the Top 10 and ready to push forward in the Prefinal and Final.

Finals Day – Strong Comebacks to Close the Weekend

Sunday’s Finals proved to be a challenging test, but our drivers never gave up, delivering some great recoveries. In OKJ, Zsebö and Nagy fought hard to gain positions, while in OK, Marsh also staged a strong comeback.

Pablo Rodriguez, Team Manager:

“Despite not being the smoothest Finals day, there are plenty of positives to take away from the weekend, as the team showed great pace, determination, and resilience in all conditions.”
